Skeleton Brachiosaurus – Toy Review

Skeleton Brachiosaurus – Toy Review

Children and adults alike have always shared a deep fascination for dinosaurs. These large, majestic and sometimes ferocious animals have held the imagination of millions, through film, books, games and toys. Since your child cannot pack their bags and leave home to become a palaeontologist just yet, the ‘Skeleton Brachiosaurus’ kit from 4M Kidz Labs is an educational and hands-on way to get them started.

This kit explores the indomitable Brachiosaurus – one of the largest dinosaurs to ever roam the Earth. Children will be able to “excavate” the bones of the dinosaur from plaster and get hands-on experience as to how palaeontologists work. They will also learn how to put together the bones of the dinosaur to create a complete model.

Each kit contains the bones of an entire dinosaur embedded in a plaster block. Children have to use their patience, skill and dexterity to gently chip away at the plaster to reveal the bones. Using their imagination and creativity, they have to assemble the bones to create a complete dinosaur.

The act of excavation helps children develop their sense of patience and calm, as they systematically approach the embedded bones. They also build on their sense of logical thinking and cognitive skills while putting the dinosaur together.
