“Avatar” What does that mean?
An avatar is a manifestation of a deity or released soul in bodily form on earth; an incarnate divine teacher. The word has its origins in Sanskrit, and is commonly used in relation to many Hindu Gods and Goddesses. Avatar also means an icon or figure representing a particular person in a computer game, Internet forum, etc.
